Before founding St-Barth Yachts, Frank Bart created Fort Resort Beemster, one of the Netherlands’ most highly regarded wellness resorts. His vision centred on comfort, well-being and creating an environment where people can truly relax.
Frank later brought this philosophy to life on the water. It became the foundation for St-Barth Yachts: a Dutch boutique yacht builder focused on generous space, family life and personal enjoyment.

This background can still be felt throughout every St-Barth yacht—in the open living areas, the close connection to the water and the different spaces created for gathering, relaxing or enjoying a moment of privacy.

Frank founded the St-Barth boutique shipyard in the historic harbour town of Enkhuizen, just 45 minutes north of Amsterdam. Here, each motor yacht is designed, developed and built by an experienced team of designers, engineers and skilled professionals.

St-Barth Yachts deliberately builds no more than two yachts a year. This limited production allows the team to remain personally involved throughout every stage of the process and to give each yacht the time and attention it deserves.

The yard is equipped to support an efficient, clean and carefully organised build process, reflecting the high standards owners can expect from their first conversation through to delivery.

Clear vision
of life on the water

Founder Frank Bart developed the St-Barth concept after years of spending his own time on different yachts. He saw an opportunity to approach motor-yacht design from the inside out: beginning with the people on board, then shaping the spaces around how they want to gather, relax, cook, travel and enjoy the water.

That thinking is also informed by Frank’s background as founder of Fort Resort Beemster, where comfort, well-being and thoughtful service have always been central. At St-Barth Yachts, those principles find a new expression at sea.

Why we build in aluminium

Aluminium combines strength with comparatively low weight, giving us the flexibility to shape each yacht around the requirements of its owner and family. It offers greater freedom in both design and layout, allowing every St-Barth yacht to become truly personal.

The lower weight supports efficient performance, faster acceleration and responsive handling. It also helps reduce fuel consumption while enabling St-Barth yachts to reach speeds of at least 25 knots.
Aluminium is highly durable and can contribute to lower maintenance costs throughout the yacht’s lifetime. Together with the possibilities for future adaptation, this helps support lasting quality, value and enjoyment on the water.
